Towering duo at offensive tackle

The Raiders drafted Kolton Miller in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and while it took some time for him to get his feet wet, as he battled inconsistent play and injuries as a rookie, he is firmly entrenched as a legitimate left tackle at the NFL level now. Miller took a major step in the right direction last season, and his growth was aided by a mountain of a man the team brought in from a Super Bowl winning team.

Trent Brown was the starting left tackle for Tom Brady and the Patriots last Super Bowl team, but he made the move to the right side in 2019 with Oakland. Back on the right side, Brown once again became the premier right tackle in football, tossing around the likes of Khalil Mack and Von Miller with ease.

This is a duo that is young, and powerful, and they should be the bookends for this offensive line for years to come.

The Raiders also have some versatile depth behind these five guys heading into 2020, and there are going to be camp battles to see who rounds out the offensive line group in the team’s first season in Vegas. No matter who the depth guys are, one thing is for certain, if the starting five can stay healthy, this is going to be one exciting offense to watch this season.
