Las Vegas Raiders star Rodney Hudson is arguably the best center in the NFL, and the fact that he is not listed in the Top 100 ranking is downright criminal.

The Kansas City Chiefs may have made Rodney Hudson a second round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, but it has been his work with the Raiders franchise that has made him an all-time player at his position. Since putting on the Silver and Black in 2015, Hudson has been the anchor along the offensive line, putting up some eye-popping numbers along the way.

In fact, over the last two seasons, Hudson has not allowed a single sack on quarterback Derek Carr, an impressive statistic that should garner him national praise. Instead, Hudson is often overlooked when it comes to All-Pro lists, and even lists voted on by the players, as was the case during the NFL’s Top 100 reveal this past week.

Top-10 revealed early on Wednesday

Hudson was not named during the first 90 reveals, which is an absurdity in itself. On Wednesday, the top-10 players in the NFL per this ranking were revealed in alphabetical order, and the big fellas name was not listed.

While it is no big surprise that he would not be ranked in the top-10, for him to not be ranked at all is downright criminal. This is a guy who has dominated from his center position since coming over to the Raiders, and the fact that this list consists of guys voted on by the players makes it even more mind-boggling.

The list featured only Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce at No. 94 overall as part of the position group, and very few interior linemen were named as well. While Kelce is the best center in the NFC, Hudson is the No. 1 guy in the AFC, and is the main reason why the Raiders offensive line is considered one of the best in football heading into the new season.

Running back Josh Jacobs and Tight End Darren Waller were both named on the list, with Jacobs at No. 72 and Waller at No. 99. Both of those guys were well deserving of being named as some of the Top 100 players in the game today, but many feel, including myself, that Hudson is the best player on the team right now.
