6 players the Las Vegas Raiders cannot afford to see opt out

Maxx Crosby, Defensive End

Maxx Crosby was another breakout player of the 2019 season which got no respect from the NFL media. Crosby had 11 sacks as a rookie with four against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 alone, and became a leader for the Raiders on the defensive side of the ball in Year 1.

One stat that jumps out is the 29 stops he had at or behind the line of scrimmage, with 16 going for a loss. This shows his speed and get off from the start, as he’s a very quick player off the ball and makes his money in the backfield.

The NFL is all about speed and agility right now and Crosby will be a great player in this league. To go along with his 11 sacks, he also had four forced fumbles, 29 hurries, and nine quarterback hits. Crosby is invaluable to the Raiders defense because he’s a pure pass rusher with the ability to set an edge. The second-year player was drafted in the 4th round and outplayed his draft position with 103 other players taken before him.
