In his freshman season, Edwards appeared in all 12 games, recording 44 receptions for 590 yards and four touchdowns. As a true freshman, he earned Athlon’s Freshman All-America Second Team honors and All-SEC Freshman first-team accolades.

Edwards started all 13 games in his sophomore season, leading the team with 64 receptions for 793 yards and five touchdowns. As a junior, he increased his production again with 55 receptions for 846 yards and seven touchdowns. In his senior season, he registered 71 receptions for 816 yards and six touchdowns while appearing in just 10 games, before his season was cut short due to injury.
