Las Vegas Raiders RB room would benefit from addition of Jeremy Hill

How he fits with the Las Vegas Raiders

Heading into the 2020 NFL season, the Raiders have all the pass-catching running backs they need, especially with the drafting of Bowden Jr. Jacobs was a solid pass-catcher during his time at Alabama, and will be worked into the passing game more in 2020, and Richard is a guy who hauled in almost seventy balls two years ago.

In Hill, they would be getting a downhill runner to compliment this group, someone who could spell Jacobs in the red zone, and pick up the short yards when needed. If Jacobs goes down like he did last year, Hill could assume that short-yardage role, while the team features Richard and Bowden more in the passing game.

Las Vegas does not need Hill to carry the ball as much as he did in Cincinnati, but ten or so carries a game would go along way in keeping Jacobs healthy.

If Hill is healthy, this would be an excellent addition to this roster, as he brings not only special talent to the running back room, but he is ready to go after sitting out the 2019 season. Richard, Bowden and Hill would be an excellent group behind Jacobs on the Raiders depth chart at running back in 2020, each bringing something special to the table, and each making sure Jacobs is fresh.
