2020 Las Vegas Raiders offense has no shortage of weapons
Elite talent returning
Adding guys like Bowden, Ruggs, and Edwards via the 2020 NFL Draft was solid, but the Raiders also return two guys who are premier players at their positions. Running back Josh Jacobs should have easily won the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, and tight end Darren Waller had a breakout season with 90 catches in 2019.
Jacobs and Waller are not only good players, but they are elite at what they do, and with all the new weapons around them, they should have even more room to operate this season. Jacobs played a lot of his rookie season hurt, and now that he is healthy, expect him to be more of a target in the passing game.
For Waller, he is an absolute menace at tight end, and a matchup nightmare for the opposition. It would not be surprising if he broke Todd Christensen‘s tight end reception record this season.
Finally, the Raiders also have the luxury of having their entire starting offensive line from 2019 returning, and all five of them are above average at least at their position group. Carr has had solid statistical seasons the past two years, but the time has come for him to start stacking wins. With all these additions, he should have no problem putting up points.
