Luke Easterling recently posted a three-round 2021 NFL mock draft, and the Las Vegas Raiders once again tapped the University of Alabama for their first round pick.

The Las Vegas Raiders went from an old and slow team, to a fast and young one since Mike Mayock took over as general manager, as he capitalized on five first round picks over the past two years. With the team coming off a seven-win season, and after adding talent on both sides of the ball via the 2020 NFL Draft and free agency this offseason, the hope is the Raiders can make the playoffs for only the second time since the 2002 season.

With training camp ramping up, it is a good time to take a look at some mock drafts, and Luke Easterling from Draft Wire recently posted a three-round 2021 NFL mock with the Raiders once again deciding to pull from one of the best programs in college football.

Raiders add elite Alabama linebacker at No. 9 overall

With the No. 9 overall pick, Easterling has the Raiders taking Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses, a former five-star recruit who has battled injuries during his time with the Crimson Tide. When healthy, Moses is widely regarded as the best linebacker in college football, but foot and knee injuries have hindered him throughout his college career.

The Raiders have done a nice job revamping the linebacker position this offseason, and Moses is a guy who could come in and eventually wear the green dot. He is an incredibly talented linebacker with a tremendous football IQ, and if he is available at No. 9 overall, he would be a perfect fit on a Raiders defense that continues to get better.
