Another Alabama star lands with the Raiders in latest mock draft

Washington cornerback in the third round

During the past two NFL drafts, the Raiders have added Trayvon Mullen in the second round in 2019, and then drafted Damon Arnette in the first round in 2020. Those two guys will be building blocks on a young and talented secondary, one that also features recent draft picks Amik Robertson and Johnathan Abram.

In Easterling’s latest mock, the Raiders continue to add to the cornerback room, selecting Elijah Molden in the third round. A 2019 All-Pac 12 player, Molden is on a ton of watch lists for the 2020 season, and is a preseason All-American, so getting him in the third round would be another elite move by general manager Mike Mayock.

With training camp ramping up, and the 2020 NFL season apparently going to happen, it will be interesting to see what the Raiders needs actually are next April when the draft rolls around. Mike Mayock has done a tremendous job adding talent through his first two drafts, and this is a haul that would improve both sides of the ball.
