The Las Vegas Raiders released LB MarquelLee after he failed his physical, driving the final nail in the coffin of the Silver and Black’s 2017 NFL Draft class

Earlier this week the Las Vegas Raiders traded DT PJ Hall to the Minnesota Vikings which signified the latest failure from the team’s 2018 NFL Draft class. We took a look at the rest of the class, and there were some positives that could be taken from it, but the 2017 class has very little, if any, redeeming qualities.

Marquel Lee was the latest casualty from that ill-fated class, as he failed his physical and was released by the Raiders this week. The former Demon Deacon was projected to make the roster as the fourth linebacker but he does not appear to be healthy enough for camp much less the final roster.

Similar to the 2018 class, we will take a look back at the 2017 class and see what has become of the nine players selected by Reggie McKenzie with some input from Jack Del Rio and his staff as well. Before we jump in we must warn you that it’s not pretty so shield your eyes if you have a weak stomach.

We start with the Good.
