Two Raiders named to list of those destined for first Pro Bowl

Cody Williams over at NFL SpinZone recently put together a list of ten players who are destined to make their first Pro Bowl in 2020. Of the ten players named, two of them wear the Silver and Black, with one of them being the top-ranked player on the list.

Williams names star tight end Darren Waller as the No. 8 player on the list, and rightfully so. This is a guy who has overcome so much in his personal life to become one of the premier tight ends in football after hauling in 90 passes for over 1,000 yards during the 2019 NFL season.

The top-ranked player mentioned was Josh Jacobs, who dominated the football landscape as a rookie, and could have done even more if he was not hindered by a shoulder injury. Jacobs is going to be featured more in the passing game this season, and the plan is to make him an even bigger part of the offense.

There is no doubt that these two players will be cornerstones of the Raiders offense for the 2020 season and beyond. They have taken different roads to get to where they are in their football careers, but are both incredibly inspirational stories, and two players who deserve every bit of national recognition they get.
