NFL.com recently put out an article stating DerekCarr will have the best season of his career in 2020, but is that really going to happen?

The 2020 NFL season is inching closer and closer, and with that being said, another year of Derek Carr questions will arise. Will this be the year Carr appears in his first playoff game? Does he have the weapons to get the job done? Can he succeed in Jon Gruden’s offense?

Well we will dissect these things below.

This is Year No. 7 that Carr is at the helm of the Raiders offense, and since taking over in 2014, he has re-written the team’s record book in terms of passing categories. He is the all-time leader in yards, completions, and completion percentage to name a few, and will become the touchdown leader in 2020 as well.

Nevertheless, the one thing that keeps getting brought up is the career record of 39-55.

So entering the 2020 season, a lot has changed in terms of the roster around him, as Mike Mayock and company went out and got him all the weaponry he needs to have a monster season. With an elite tight end and running back, his entire offensive line back, and upgrades at wideout, all eyes will be on Carr to put it all together.
