New Faces

Henry Ruggs III was the Raiders first pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, being selected No. 12 overall, and he is expected to slide in as the WR1 this season. During his time at Alabama, Ruggs was a touchdown machine as well, and is widely considered one of the fastest players in football, something Al Davis would have loved.

In the third round, Bryan Edwards was brought in, and seeing him already in camp, he looks like a first round pick. That young combination is going to be a big part of this franchise’s future, and both have made some head-turning catches already.

Nelson Agholor was brought in via free agency, and while he struggled with the dropsies during his time in Philadelphia, he is a guy who performed in a big way on the biggest stage, racking up 84 yards in the Eagles’ Super Bowl win. Those three guys give the Raiders incredible depth at wide receiver when you combine them with the likes of Williams and Renfrow.

Remember, this is a Raiders offense that has their full line coming back, as well as explosive and elite players at both tight end and running back in Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs. This offense has everything they need to hang points against any team in the league, and hopefully Carr can continue to master Gruden’s schemes and have a monster season.
