The Las Vegas Raiders have done a nice job building their roster since Mike Mayock arrived, and Bleacher Report feels they could surprise everybody in 2020.

Looking at the 2020 Las Vegas Raiders through the first few days of training camp, there is certainly a lot to like. Speed has been added on both sides of the ball, the defense is better at linebacker, and the team looks to have a certain swagger about them as they head into their first season in the desert.

For the past two offseasons, general manager Mike Mayock has done a tremendous job building up the roster, thanks to outstanding work in the NFL Draft, and making some shrewd moves in free agency. Sure, there was the Antonio Brown hiccup, but outside of that, you have to be extremely happy with the job he has done.

Positions that were notoriously a weakness have been turned into a strength heading into 2020, there is continuity within the coaching staff, and the word depth is finally starting to get thrown around. The 2019 draft class stepped up in a big way in Year 1, and have moved into leadership roles in Year 2, and there seems to be more of a sense of pride for playing for the organization than there has been.

Every NFL season, teams always come out of nowhere to shock the NFL landscape, and one writer feels that team will be the Raiders in 2020.
