Las Vegas Raiders 53-man 2020 Week 1 roster prediction

Tight End (3): Darren Waller, Jason Witten, Foster Moreau

Last year was a massive year for Darren Waller, as he emerged as one of the best tight ends in the league. Waller has great speed, size, and hands for a tight end, and he showed it all year last season, as he caught 90 balls for over 1,100 yards.

The Raiders also added a veteran tight end in Jason Witten this offseason, one of the best tight ends to ever play the game, and his presence will be felt on the field, and off of it. Although Jason Witten is not in his prime, he is still a solid player and could improve the Raiders red zone game greatly.

The last tight end to make the Raiders roster will be second year player Foster Moreau. Moreau was a pleasant surprise for the Raiders last season, coming up big in clutch situations and finding the end zone often. Moreau should be able to learn a lot from Witten and continue to improve his game.

Overall, this is a very deep three-man unit, and if the Raiders do decide to keep four, and only hold onto six wideouts, Derek Carrier will be back for a third season.
