Las Vegas Raiders 53-man 2020 Week 1 roster prediction

Defensive Tackle (4): Maurice Hurst, Maliek Collins, Johnathan Hankins, Daniel Ross

Maurice Hurst will look to continue to improve, and will be a massive part of the Raiders defensive success in 2020. Hurst was a great run-stopper last season and was the best pass rusher on the Raiders interior defensive line, but there are still a lot of improvements he can make.

Arguably the biggest addition to the Raiders team will be Maliek Collins, as the coaches have spoken extremely high of him. Collins is a great run-stopper and pairing him alongside Hurst could make the Raiders one of the best run stopping defenses in the NFL.

Johnathan Hankins also returns to the team as another solid run-stopper, but he will need to help more with the pass rush than in previous years. Last season, Hankins led the defensive tackle group in tackles, and has been a real pleasant surprise since putting on the Silver and Black.

With the loss of PJ Hall, Daniel Ross should be able to fill his spot right away. That gives the Raiders a solid four-man rotation up front along the interior of the defensive line.
