The Las Vegas Raiders once again add a member of the Alabama football program in Pro Football Focus’ latest 2021 NFL mock draft.

Since taking over as general manager of the Raiders franchise, Mike Mayock has not been shy in his love for the elite programs in college football. Most of his early round picks have come from either Clemson or Alabama, two teams that met together in his first real assignment after accepting the nearly two years ago.

Since then, Mayock has brought in Clelin Ferrell, Trayvon Mullen, Hunter Renfrow, Tanner Muse and John Simpson from Clemson, while adding Josh Jacobs and Henry Ruggs III from Alabama all via the NFL Draft. Those seven players are going to be cornerstones of this franchise for years to come, and some have already developed into either elite, or solid NFL players.

As we take a look towards next April, not knowing what will happen with the 2020 college football season, it is fun to check out some 2021 NFL mock drafts. The Raiders have been stacking talent from big-time programs the last two years, and one media outlet feels that trend will continue in 2021.

In Pro Football Focus‘ latest mock draft, the Raiders once again use a first round pick on a member of the Alabama football program.
