While Bryan Edwards was drafted in the third round, he is a first round talent, and has shown that during his first training camp with the Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders had their choice of wide receivers with the No. 12 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, as all three elite choices were still available. Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, and CeeDee Lamb were all on the board, and when it came time for Jon Gruden to turn in the card, Ruggs was the guy the team selected.

In fact, Ruggs was the guy the Raiders wanted the whole time, as he is an absolute burner who can cause defenses fits down the field. He will be asked to head a wide receiver group that has an influx of new talent in 2020, including fellow 2020 NFL draft pick, Bryan Edwards.

Throughout their first training camp with the Raiders, both Ruggs and Edwards have been turning heads, whether it is making acrobatic catches, or showing precise route-running abilities. These are two guys who are going to be tasked with turning the Raiders fortunes around in the passing game, as the team looks to find the end zone more through the air.

In Ruggs and Edwards, the Raiders have added two first round talents at the wide receiver position.
