Can the revamped Las Vegas Raiders defense dominate in 2020?

Revamping the linebacker group

Heading into the 2020 offseason, two big areas needed to be addressed on defense, and that was really the secondary, and the linebacker group. When it comes to the linebacker unit, that group has been completely revamped, and will be led by two guys who can flat out get it done at the NFL level.

Cory Littleton was the crown jewel of the Raiders free agency haul, as he was the best linebacker available, and fills so many voids on this team’s defense. For years the franchise has been looking for linebackers who can cover, and in Littleton and fellow free agent Nick Kwiatkoski, they get two instant starters who can do just that.

Kwiatkoski will wear the green dot for Paul Guenther this season, and call the plays on the field, so he is just as important as Littleton. The third linebacker to start is still undecided, but there are some exciting players in camp who could win the job, including undrafted free agent Javin White, 2020 draft pick Tanner Muse, and holdover Nicholas Morrow.
