2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection after training camp
Tight Ends (4): Darren Waller, Foster Moreau, Jason Witten, Derek Carrier
Jon Gruden loves his tight ends, and just like the Tyrell Williams injury makes the receiver decision easier, it does the same for the tight end group. Darren Waller retains his starting spot and will look to continue his Pro Bowl level of play in his second season as a starter.
Foster Moreau looks to be fully recovered from his ACL injury and was back in action during the unofficial workouts the players organized in a park near the team facility. He has looked good in training camp and the Raiders hope that his effectiveness in the red zone continues.
Jason Witten is the elder statesman on the team, and his roster spot was never in doubt unless he chose to hang it up during camp. The man that may have been on the outside looking in before the Williams injury was Derek Carrier but he should have a place on the team now.
Carrier is an excellent special teams player, a solid blocker, and can line up all over the field so he can contribute in a multitude of ways.
