5 Las Vegas Raiders who should not have made the 2020 53-man roster

Dallin Leavitt

Another final 53-man Raiders roster features Dallin Leavitt. This is a huge surprise for a number of reason including being on the wrong end of highlights during camp practices when asked to cover tight ends in the passing game.

Leavitt will likely never become an impact player in the NFL and doesn’t add any value when asked to play defense.

Leavitt’s contributions on special teams of course is what made the team. But when you factor in the other safeties on this roster, Erik Harris and Jeff Heath both will also play special teams for the Raiders so the need for a safety who only plays in the kicking game was less a necessity than it would seem on the surface.

Damarious Randall being cut in favor of Leavitt makes his addition to the initial 53 man roster all the more mind boggling.
