Las Vegas Raiders at Carolina Panthers

The new Era of Raiders football will kick on on Sunday morning, as the team travels to North Carolina to take on the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers will have a new look to them in 2020, as it is no longer the Cam Newton Show, as Teddy Bridgewater will take over under center, becoming a full-time starter for the first time in years.

Luckily for Bridgewater, he has one of the more explosive playmakers in the game lined up behind him in Christian McCaffrey, who is going to be a tough early-season draw for the Raiders new-look defense. McCaffrey can get the job done on the ground, and through the air, and it will be interesting to see how new head coach Matt Rhule utilizes him this season.

For the Raiders, they have the talent on both sides of the ball to make a playoff push in 2020, and I like their chances in Week 1. The front office revamped the defense, especially in the secondary and at linebacker, and on Sunday, Derek Carr will use all his new weapons in a tight Week 1 victory.
