4 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Carolina Panthers in Week 1

Nobody knows what to expect with the Raiders

The toughest teams to beat in the NFL are the teams that cannot be game planned against. Nobody has any idea what the Raiders offense will look like, as they added a ton of speed that they lacked before, and Coach Gruden is no doubt going to have some tricks up his sleeve involving rookies Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Raiders have a completely different look than before, so it will be extremely difficult to game plan against them as well. The Raiders have a new starting corner, new safeties, new linebackers, and added a beast in the middle of the defensive line in Maliek Collins.

Las Vegas will have an idea of what the Panthers will do, as they will heavily rely on Christian McCaffrey, but the Raiders will have a ton of new weapons to use, and the Panthers will not be prepared for it. McCaffrey is the most versatile back in the NFC, and is a tough early-season matchup for this new-look defense, but the team should be able to do enough to come away with a road victory in Week 1.
