The Carolina Panthers have some burners on the outside, and it will be a big early-season test for the Las Vegas Raiders young secondary.

The Las Vegas Raiders new-look secondary will be tested in Week 1, as the Carolina Panthers have a solid three-headed monster at the wide receiver position. The tandem of Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore welcomed a third weapon this offseason, this in the person of Robby Anderson, who had success against the Raiders last season.

Anderson is a guy who can flat out beat you deep, and against a horrible Raiders secondary last season, he racked up four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. The hope is that the Raiders pass rush can get some push, and the linebackers have an answer for star running back Christian McCaffrey, who had 1,000 yards on the ground, and through the air last season.

Carolina also comes into this game with a quarterback who may be making his first start for the franchise, but has a history of winning at the NFL level. In fact, before injuring his knee when he was with Minnesota, Bridgewater had led the team to an 11-5 record, earning Pro Bowl honors along the way.

Last season, Bridgewater went 5-0 in relief of Drew Brees with the New Orleans Saints, so the Raiders new secondary better be ready for him on Sunday.
