Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 1 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Tight Ends

Darren Waller – Start Em

As the other blue chipper on the Raiders offense after Josh Jacobs, we could keep Darren Waller’s section short every week and just say start him against any team in the NFL. In just his first full season as a starter, Waller was the 4th highest scoring tight end in the league and this year could be more of the same.

He saw an incredible 117 targets and put up monster numbers in every category except touchdowns thanks to the extra attention he drew in the red zone. We can expect him to see more one on one coverage this year thanks to the new speed at wide receiver for the Raiders.

Carolina has some speedy linebackers that are good in coverage but if he is consistently matched up against former teammate Tahir Whitehead, he should be able to feast. Start Waller with confidence this week and probably every week after that.

Jason Witten/Foster Moreau – Sit Em

There is not enough volume for either Witten or Moreau at this time to justify a starting or roster spot but that could change in case of injury so stay tuned. Moreau has the higher ceiling as a red zone monster in 2019 but just keep an eye on him on the waiver wire for now.
