The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, and here is how you can catch all of the action online.
The Las Vegas Raiders kick off their inaugural season on the road against the Carolina Panthers in an inter-conference matchup. The Raiders will hope to start off the new era with a win before embarking on the toughest part of their schedule with matchups against the New Orleans Saints and several other playoff teams from 2019.
Armed with an arsenal of new weapons on offense, Derek Carr and Jon Gruden will be hoping that the third time is the charm for a playoff bid as they kick off their third season together. There are several new faces at the skill position like Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards and they have all the makings of a special unit thanks to one of the best offensive lines in the league and a QB that is fully matured as a passer and leader.
On defense there are several new faces like Cory Littleton and Damon Arnette who will be anxious to prove that they were deserving of their high draft position or the big bucks splashed on them in free agency. The defense was poor in 2019 and Raider Nation will be expecting a quick turnaround after the draft and free agency capital that was spent on the unit in the offseason.

On the Carolina Panthers side, they are in the first steps of a massive rebuild as they replaced both head coach Ron Rivera and QB Cam Newton after eight largely successful years together. The team hired former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule and signed Teddy Bridgewater to a long-term deal to lead them in to a new era of Panther football.
They jettisoned much of their defense from 2019 and brought in several young players through free agency and the draft to reboot on that side of the ball.
Even with the new faces running the show on offense and defense, the Panthers feature one of the best backs in the NFL in Christian McCaffrey and a receiver group that is dynamic and dangerous after the catch. It should make for a fascinating match up that the Raiders will absolutely need to win to get their season started on the right foot.
