The Las Vegas Raiders kick off their 2020 NFL season on Sunday, and our staff gives their predictions of how they feel the season will go.

With one day away from the Las Vegas Raiders season opener, there is a lot to be excited about within Raider Nation. General Manager Mike Mayock has gone out and filled a ton of holes on this roster, and for the first time in a long time, there is long-term depth at some key positions.

We at JustBlogBaby sat down as a staff and gave our predictions for the Raiders in the 2020 season, and here they are.

The Raiders look to improve on an up and down season heading into the 2020 campaign. With an improved cast of wide receivers, linebackers, young cornerbacks, and a list of players heading into their sophomore seasons, there is no reason the Raiders shouldn’t be able to make the playoffs.

The best teams in the NFL will likely still be too much for the Raiders, such as the Chiefs, Saints, and Bills, but the Raiders will have a chance to have a great run in the second half of the season. I believe the Raiders will struggle early on, with a tough schedule and a young group of players, but by the end of the season, the Raiders will be a team that nobody wants to see in the playoffs.

Prediction: 9-7

The 2020 season is bringing on quite a few changes for the Raiders. Of course, the first being the new stadium and city in Las Vegas. With that aside, the Raiders have a completely revamped offense and defense, and could surprise people this season.

Although the team had a pretty stellar offseason, improving the receiving corps and defense almost entirely, the schedule for this season is arguably tougher than last year. Featuring a nearly who’s who of playoff teams from a season ago, it is a tough test for the Raiders.

With the improvements though I think the Raiders get over the .500 hump.

Prediction: 9-7
