The Las Vegas Raiders open up their 2020 NFL slate on the road against Carolina, and here are three storylines to keep an eye on in Week 1.

The NFL season is underway and fans across the league will be tuning in today, wondering what their team is made of. With the lack of pre-season games, Las Vegas Raiders fans have no idea what the on-field product will look like in Week 1.

No team is tasked with a bigger disadvantage than the Raiders today, as their matchup with the Panthers will be pure guess work. The Carolina coaching staff is filled with former college coaches, none of whom have coordinated or managed an NFL game, so tendency, scheme, and strategy are all unknowns.

With that being said, the Raiders will need to stick to what their good at, trust the philosophies that won them games in 2019, and make it hard on the Panthers by controlling the clock.
