The 2020 NFL season is officially underway and the first week is in the books. Here’s how each of four AFC West teams fared in their respective matchups.

It’s been what feels like a long and uncertain road towards kick-off, but the 2020 NFL season has officially arrived with the first week of games officially in the books. With a majority of NFL stadiums empty and without fans, all 32 teams took to the field, including those of the AFC West.

In a division headlined by the Chiefs, the 2020 season will be closely watched as to find out which team can go toe-to-toe with Kansas City. For the Las Vegas Raiders and the rest of the AFC West teams, the goal of the offseason was to improve the roster and match the talent of the Super Bowl champions.

The new expanded playoff format leaves open the possibility of the AFC West sending one more team to the postseason via the Wild Card spot, and the path to the playoffs began with the results of the past weekend. Here’s how the Raiders, Chiefs, Chargers, and Broncos fared in Week 1.
