What does that drive, and win mean for the Las Vegas Raiders?
In terms of historical significance, Sunday’s win was a big one as it was the first win in the history of the Las Vegas Raiders. It was win number 474 since Raiders were founded in 1960, but of course, the first since the big move from Oakland to Las Vegas.
For Derek Carr, it was historically significant as well as he notched his 19th career fourth quarter comeback. Per Raiders PR, Carr holds the record for the most fourth quarter comebacks by a quarterback in their first six years of their career with 18 so this was more of the same for the former Fresno State star.

Also per Raiders PR, Carr now has the most games in franchise history with a passer rating of 100 or more. It is yet another statistical milestone and another record taken over for the most prolific quarterback in team history.
Love him or hate him, when Carr has some talent around him and the Raiders are not actively rebuilding, he usually comes through when the pressure is on. The last time the Raiders made the playoffs in 2016, Carr was responsible for seven fourth quarter comebacks and all of those comebacks were on game-winning drives.

Ideally the Raiders will not need to lean on Derek Carr to repeat that feat in 2020 as they will hope to have opponents put away before the fourth quarter but Raider Nation should take comfort in knowing that he can deliver when put in that position.
