Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

In the only AFC West battle of the weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs will hit the road for the first time this season, heading to La La Land to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs looked very good in Week 1, dismantling Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans, while the Chargers had to come back to erase a fourth quarter deficit against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Looking at this matchup, there is no reason not to like the Chiefs, especially after they were able to utilize rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire so well in Week 1. Patrick Mahomes threw for three scores, all to three different players, as their offense looked pretty unstoppable.

In terms of the Chiefs defense, the Chargers had a hard enough time doing anything against the Bengals on Sunday, and Kansas City looked pretty explosive on that side of the ball as well Thursday night. Overall, this could be a tough one for the Chargers, and I like the Chiefs to roll.
