AFC West 2020 Week 2 predictions: Raiders host Saints on MNF

New Orleans Saints at Las Vegas Raiders (MNF)

The New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders are coming off victories in Week 1, with the Saints beating division rival Tampa Bay at home. The Raiders actually helped out the Saints this past weekend, beating an NFC South foe in the Carolina Panthers, but this week, they are out to stick one in Saints’ loss column.

Las Vegas’ offense looked very explosive last weekend, with second-year running back Josh Jacobs racking up three touchdowns. Derek Carr took care of the ball, completing 73 percent of his passes with a touchdown and no interceptions, and the defense actually stepped up late, something they have had issues doing in years past.

In terms of predicting the outcome in Week 2, just like in 2016, Carr has enough magic in his right arm to will this team to a victory, kicking off the team’s run at Allegiant Stadium with style. They are a big underdog, but they are going to come into this game fired up, and I like a Daniel Carlson late field goal to be the difference Monday night,
