4 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the New Orleans Saints in Week 2

The Raiders trust in feeding Josh Jacobs

One of the knocks on the Raiders in some games in 2019 that they lost was that they did not give Josh Jacobs the ball enough. Some were questioning how often he would get the ball early this season considering his late-season injury, but the team clearly had no concern, utilizing him in both the run and passing game.

Jacobs was handed the ball 25 times on Sunday, rushing for 93 yards and three touchdowns. In addition, he was able to factor in the passing game with four receptions for nearly 50 yards, giving him almost 150 all-purpose yards against the Carolina defense.

The Raiders clearly have the best chance of winning when the ball is in his hands. Hopefully the Raiders have a similar game plan in Week 2 and hand Jacobs the ball time and time again, as he should be able to get yards and keep the Saints offense off the field.

He is clearly the engine that makes this Raiders offense run, and I actually believe he will be involved even more in Week 2.
