4 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the New Orleans Saints in Week 2

The Hype of the new stadium

Although there are no fans in the stands, the Raiders are no doubt going to be fired up to be playing their first game in the new stadium. Players like Derek Carr and Rodney Hudson have been playing home games on dirt baseball fields for the last few years, so there is no question that they will be excited to play their first game in one of, if not the best stadium in the NFL.

Ushering in a brand new stadium with a win has to be on everybody’s mind, especially doing it under the bright lights of Monday Night Football. The move from Oakland was a tough one for the fan base, but Las Vegas brings new excitement and expectations, and beating a team like the Saints at home would do wonders for this team moving forward.

This week, Carr stated that the team would ‘have to bring the juice’ without fans in the stands, and he is absolutely right.

Home field advantage is still a thing, even without fans, and if any team is going to experience that this season, it is the Silver and Black. Gruden and Carr will have the team hyped up to play in the new stadium, which will hopefully bring a higher level of playing intensity to the team.
