Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: Week 2 Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em

Tight Ends

Darren Waller – Start ‘Em

Darren Waller was the only Raiders weapon to get close to double digit targets as he was targeted eight times by Derek Carr. He recorded six catches for 45 yards and was a safety valve all game but didn’t have one of his patented explosive plays.

A touchdown would have made this an excellent performance but Jacobs’ dominance of the game let the Raiders keep the game in his capable hands. Waller is a top notch TE1 and will be all year if he is healthy so keep him in your starting lineup and enjoy the consistency he brings.

Jason Witten/Foster Moreau – Sit ‘Em

One of the reasons that some fans were upset with the Jason Witten signing was the belief that the old-timer would take away snaps from Foster Moreau and that was certainly the case against Carolina. Witten outsnapped Moreau 28 to 12 and looked slow on his sole reception of the game. We will have to see if Moreau or Witten can make their minimal targets count but file that under unlikely at best.
