Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2

Nelson Agholor

Henry Ruggs III had a great showing in his first NFL game, but that may not be the case in Week 2. Not only is Ruggs battling an injury that could effect his gameplay, he will also be facing off with Saints corner Marshon Lattimore, who is one of the best in the game at his position group.

Ruggs likely has never faced as good of a corner as Lattimore in his entire football career, so this game could be his “welcome to the league, rookie” moment. If that is the case, the Raiders will have to find someone else to run the passing game through, and that player will be Nelson Agholor.

Agholor is another receiver with great speed, and although he has faced criticism over the last two years, he has gained the trust of Coach Gruden and Derek Carr, and that was shown Sunday. Agholor hauled in the only Carr touchdown pass of the game, a beautifully thrown 23-yard strike, and the Raiders could use more of the same on Monday night.
