The Las Vegas Raiders host the New Orleans Saints Monday night, and here are our staff predictions for the Week 2 matchup at Allegiant Stadium.

In what is a huge statement game for the Las Vegas Raiders, the Silver and Black will play host to the New Orleans Saints under the bright lights of Monday Night Football. Both teams come into this game sporting 1-0 records, and both are looking to prove to the world they are legitimate playoff contenders.

Here are some staff picks for the Week 2 game.

Overall, I believe Las Vegas will be able to compete early on, as Coach Gruden is one of the best coaches in the league when it comes to the first half. Eventually, the Saints will make the adjustments needed to take control of the game, as I expect a big game from Alvin Kamara on offense, and the run defense of the Saints to be the biggest differences in the game.

Prediction: Saints 31, Raiders 17

The Raiders have a tough matchup this upcoming week vs the New Orleans Saints. The Saints coming off an impressive Week 1 win vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the heavy favorites. This comes with a caveat this week though, as not only is it a Monday night game, but the first home game for the Raiders in their new stadium in Las Vegas.

With star wide receiver Michael Thomas sidelined, and what may look like an aging Drew Brees, I’m calling an upset here. And giving the Raiders an advantage with being at home and winning by a close score.

Prediction: Raiders 27, Saints 24
