With another game in the books, here’s how Week 2 of the regular season played out for the Las Vegas Raiders and the remaining teams in the AFC West.
Week 2 of the regular season was overshadowed by a multitude of significant injuries across the league, and the AFC West was not spared either. While the injury list added numerous names there was still football to be played, and the AFC West saw all teams in action during Week 2.
The Denver Broncos, fresh off a short week, traveled to Pittsburgh for a matchup with the Steelers, while the Los Angeles Chargers made their home debut at SoFi Stadium with a divisional contest with the Kansas City Chiefs. The game would prove to be the debut of not only the Chargers’ new stadium but of their first-round draft pick as well.
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Raiders debuted their own new arena in Allegiant Stadium, eloquently nicknamed “The Death Star,” on Monday Night Football with a primetime matchup against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.
