AFC West Week 2: Raiders shine in Las Vegas debut, move to 2-0

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos traveled on the road amid a short week for a matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and though the 21-26 loss sent them to 0-2 on the season, the injuries that the team suffered undoubtedly sting more. Jeff Driskel tossed two touchdowns in relief of Drew Lock, who exited the game after going 1/5 for just 20 yards.

Already having lost Von Miller before the start of the season, Denver will now be without Drew Lock for 3-5 weeks due to a shoulder injury, per ESPN. To make matters worse, the Broncos will also be without Courtland Sutton for the remainder of the season, after results revealed the receiver suffered a torn ACL on Sunday.

Injuries made their way across the NFL on Sunday, and they hit the Broncos particularly hard. Without their All-Pro rusher and one of their top receivers for the season, combined with the absence of Drew Lock for the foreseeable future, at 0-2 the season outlook for Denver is looking especially bleak.
