The Las Vegas Raiders opened up Allegiant Stadium with an surprising victory over Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints with a score of 34-24.

The Las Vegas Raiders played an all around impressive game in their first game in Las Vegas. Derek Carr outplayed Drew Brees, the defense was much improved from a week ago, and the Raiders offense proved that is it legit and can compete with any team in the league.

Here are some things we learned in the Raiders victory on Monday Night Football.

The Offensive is legit

After scoring 34 points against a rebuilding Carolina Panthers team in Week 1, questions were asked if the offense was going to be able to do the same against better teams. On Monday, the Raiders proved that no matter the competition, this offense can flat out move the ball.

The Offense put up another 30 + point performance in the victory on Monday Night on a good Saints defense, and shocked the NFL world.  After starting slow in the first quarter, the Raiders picked it up in the second quarter and never looked back.  Derek Carr had a very impressive game despite missing Henry Ruggs III on a deep ball, finishing the game with 282 yards three touchdowns with no interceptions.

Darren Waller dominated his matchup with Malcolm Jenkins and showed why he deserves to be mentioned in the conversation with the best tight ends in all of the NFL, and even though Josh Jacobs struggled a bit running the ball to start the game, that was mostly due to injuries on the offensive line.
