The Las Vegas Raiders head East on a short week to take on Bill Belichick and the new-look New England Patriots in Week 3. Here is how to watch.

The Las Vegas Raiders have been one of the surprise teams of the early 2020 NFL season, beating the Carolina Panthers on the road in Week 1, and then dominating the New Orleans Saints in primetime in Week 2, a team many expect to challenge for a Super Bowl berth in the NFC. In Week 3, the Silver and Black make another trip to the East Coast, this time to take a nemes in the New England Patriots.

Since the Raiders got absolutely hosed during the “Tuck Rule” Game, these two franchises have been on opposite trajectories. Tom Brady went on to win five Super Bowl rings playing for New England, and the Raiders have been to the playoffs only two times since that fateful day in January of 2002.

Even today, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden gets fired up thinking about how that game went, and in Week 3, he will at least have a chance to get some revenge on Bill Belichick and his new-look Patriots. Sitting at 2-0, the Raiders have a chance to make another statement, and they appear to have the roster to do just that.

Derek Carr has looked outstanding in his third season in Gruden’s offense, taking care of the ball, and utilizing all of his weapons on the offensive side of the ball. He hit 11 different players with a pass on Monday night, including tight end Darren Waller, who is rounding into one of the best in the game at his position group.

Belichick has already stated that Waller is going to be a problem on Sunday, and you can be sure he will be gameplanning all week to stop a player that had 12 catches on 15 targets for over 100 yards and a touchdown against the Saints. The last time these two met up, the Patriots beat the Raiders 33-8 during the 2017 season, but these Raiders will be up for the task in Week 3.
