AFC West Week 3 preview and predictions: Chargers get first home win of 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos not only lost in Week 2, but they lost their quarterback, as Drew Lock injured his shoulder, and they had to turn to Jeff Driskel. Driskel actually kept the Broncos in the game, but in the end, the Pittsburgh Steelers were just too much, and Denver saw their early-season record fall to 0-2.

It does not get any easier this weekend, as Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to town off a solid victory over Carolina in Week 2. Brady looked much better in his second game as a Buccaneer, and will look to continue to grow his rapport with Mike Evans, who had seven catches and a touchdown against the Panthers.

Denver has a solid defense, and they were able to help the team stay in the game last week, but Brady should find his groove late to come away with a one-score victory. That would sent the Broncos to 0-3, and in serious danger of letting their 2020 NFL season get out of control early on.

Prediction: Buccaneers 24, Broncos 17
