The Las Vegas Raiders travel East to take on the New England Patriots on Sunday, and here is our preview and prediction of the matchup.

It has been about as a good a first two weeks of the 2020 NFL season as they could ask for for the Las Vegas Raiders, who have surprised the football landscape by starting out 2-0. Sure, they were the favorites in Week 1, but going East is never an easy task, especially in the world we currently live in.

They took care of business against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, but were then tasked with taking on the New Orleans Saints under the bright lights of Monday Night Football in Week 2. The decided underdog in that game, the Raiders shocked the world by coming back from an early lead and really dominating the Saints throughout.

This is a team that won only four games in 2018 when Jon Gruden took over as head coach, but since then, thanks in large part to general manager Mike Mayock, they suddenly look like a playoff contender. They are playing smart, disciplined football, and that has equated to the team getting out to their first 2-0 start since the 2002 season.

With that said, let us take a look at the Raiders matchup on the road in Week 3.
