Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots: 3 Bold Predictions

Hunter Renfrow two touchdowns

The Raiders need someone to step up alongside Darren Waller, who got 16 of Derek Carr’s 38 targets in week two. And with Henry Ruggs being ruled out for this week’s game, Hunter Renfrow should be who the Raiders look to. Carr clearly trusts Renfrow, and I think he will look to him on crucial plays when the Patriots force someone other than Waller to beat them.

So far, Renfrow has caught all five of his targets this season which is tops for any receiver on the team. Plus, with Ruggs out the lineup, the Patriots don’t have to worry about a serious deep threat, which may force Carr to take everything underneath that is given. That is precisely where Renfrow operates, and we could see a battle of the slots between him and New England’s Julian Edelman.

And because of that, I think Renfrow will score his first two touchdowns of the season. To add to the specificity, I’ll say it one of them happens on a crucial 3rd down to keep with the “third and Renfrow” moniker.
