3 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Patriots in Week 3

No James White or David Andrews

Last week, James White was inactive for the team’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, as his family suffered a horrific tragedy prior to the game. White’s father and mother were in a car accident, and his father did not survive, while his mother was listed in critical condition.

White is an incredibly talented back, who can make plays in both the run and pass game, so the Pats being out him is cause for concern against the Raiders. In addition to White, the Patriots offense will also be without center David Andrews, who is one of the better players in the game at his position, and had to have surgery on his thumb.

Those are two key pieces to this Patriots offense, who went blow-for-blow with the Seahawks in primetime last weekend. The Raiders need to make sure they put pressure on the inside of the Patriots offensive line with Andrews out, and in terms of the running back spot, guys like Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead will play a bigger role, though Cam Newton led the team in rushing in Week 2.
