3 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Patriots in Week 3

New England’s pass rush

Derek Carr is playing at an elite level right now, and he is fresh off leading his team to 34 points in back-to-back games. Last week, he shredded the New Orleans Saints offense, hitting 12 different people with passes, completing 73 percent, and throwing for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns.

In total, Carr has yet to throw an interception this season, and has shown that when is kept clean, he is the perfect quarterback to run Jon Gruden’s offense. Though his offensive line is a bit banged up in Week 3, with Trent Brown and Richie Incognito both out, the Patriots have a non-existent pass rush, so Carr should have all day to throw.

That could be the difference in this one, because we know Jacobs is going to get his, and if the play-action game is working, Carr could be in for a 300-plus yard game. If he goes off, that will say a lot in terms of the Raiders coming out victorious in this one, and I believe that is going to be the case against the Patriots.
