Las Vegas Raiders dominated by New England Patriots in Week 3
Looking Ahead
The Las Vegas Raiders head home to the desert in Week 4, as they welcome Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills to the Death Star. The Bills are one of the top teams in the AFC this season, but played through a roller coaster of a game in Week 3, as they blew a monster lead to the Los Angeles Rams before coming back and winning the game late.
Las Vegas had done a nice job navigating a tough early-season schedule, winning in both Week 1 and Week 2, but injuries and mistakes were too much to overcome against a tough Patriots team on Sunday. They figured they would be challenging for a playoff spot this season, but there are more questions than answers after this embarrassing loss to the Pats.
Allen has solid big-play ability, and like Cam Newton, has the skills to make plays happen with both his arm, and his legs. Buffalo has a strong defense, and is well coached, so this is another game that will show if the Raiders are ready to be mentioned as a legitimate playoff team in 2020.
