3 free agents the Las Vegas Raiders should call right now
Damon Harrison
This offseason, a lot of the talk circled around defensive tackle Maliek Collins, who was expected to come in and be a cornerstone for this defense up front. Through his first three games as a Raider, he has not done much of anything, and in fact, I almost forgot that the Raiders signed him this offseason.
So far in 2020, the Raiders have gotten no pass rush, and they have been gashed on the ground. Rod Marinelli was supposed to come in and make the Raiders defensive front one of the best in the game, but it is clear after the first few games that changes need to be made up front, and Damon Harrison could be part of the solution.
Maurice Hurst is a good, young defensive tackle, and the hope is that Collins can find his way in the next few weeks. Harrison would provide depth and leadership to the group, giving the team a guy who is good against the pass and run, and helping to upgrade a position group that has underachieved so far in 2020.
