Las Vegas Raiders need to get healthy with undefeated Bills on the horizon

The Rookie Wideouts

With their first of two first round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders made Henry Ruggs III the first draft pick of the Las Vegas Era. The speedy wideout from Alabama has the talent to take the lid off the defense, and can be a nightmare for the opposition in terms of gameplanning against this Raiders offense.

In Week 3, Ruggs could not go against the Patriots, and that forced fellow rookie Bryan Edwards to step into a larger role. Edwards looked good early on, showing great size and speed, but he, like Ruggs, suffered an injury and could not return, which is cause for concern considering his injury history.

In order for the Raiders to do what they like to on offense, they need at least one of these guys in the mix, especially Ruggs. Having both of these weapons against Buffalo would be ideal, but if they have to go into this game with Zay Jones and Nelson Agholor being the top wideout weapons alongside Hunter Renfrow, the team could struggle to push the ball downfield once again.
