The first quarter of the 2020 NFL season is almost over and the Las Vegas Raiders need a big win to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West

The first three weeks of the 2020 NFL season are in the books, and as many predicted, the Kansas City Chiefs are in first place in the AFC West and the rest of the division is trailing behind them in more ways than just their record. The Las Vegas Raiders won their first two games of the season, both against NFC South opponents, but fell short in their second east coast trip against the New England Patriots.

The Los Angeles Chargers started the Justin Herbert era far earlier than anyone expected, and may be looking to the future, though they have plenty of talent on the roster to compete in the division and the conference. The Denver Broncos appear to be the snake-bitten team in the AFC as they seem to place another starter on season ending injured reserve every week and are 0-3.

The Chiefs are the class of the division and the NFL but there is still plenty of football left to play and we are just a few days away from wrapping up only the first quarter of the season. The quarter mark is a good time to evaluate where each team stands and could decide the team’s track for the rest of year based on their record come Week 5.

For now let’s focus on Week 4 and see what each AFC West team has in store this week.
