AFC West 2020 Week 4 predictions: Raiders try to keep pace with Chiefs

Buffalo Bills (3-0) at Las Vegas Raiders (2-1)

The Raiders are a pleasant surprise at 2-1 after quality wins over the Panthers and Saints but they were brought back to the harsh reality of the NFL with a lesson against the Patriots in Week 3. The offense was humming and the defense was doing just enough to win games but both ran in to a possible juggernaut and it all came to a screeching halt.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, the Bills may be an offensive juggernaut as they have averaged 31 points a game so far this season. QB Josh Allen is loving life with his new weapons and is playing at the highest level of his career thanks to his newfound accuracy and patience.

This had all the makings of a shootout but the Raiders may be too banged up to hang with this suddenly prolific Bills offense for four quarters. The Raiders may be missing their top two receivers in Bryan Edwards and Henry Ruggs III, and are still down two Pro Bowl offensive lineman which severely hampered the passing game against New England.

The Raiders are in the middle of their toughest stretch with games against Kansas City and Tampa Bay coming up the next two weeks so a win Sunday would be crucial in their chase for the AFC West but it may be too tall a task. The Bills will pull away in the second half and move to 4-0 while the Raiders drop to 2-2 with some tough games coming up.

Prediction: Bills win 34-24
